This rare Hachiwari (鉢割), also known as “Skull Splitter” or Kabutowari (兜割), is a type of Japanese sword-catching mace historically carried by samurai. The blade is signed on both sides, adding to its authenticity and historical value. It features beautiful silver mountings, showcasing the craftsmanship of the period.
