A fine example of the Imperial Russian percussion infantry musket, Model 1845, produced at the Tula Arms Factory around the mid-19th century. This model succeeded the 1826 flintlock musket and represents the first officially adopted percussion firearm in the Russian Army.
The musket features a steel barrel and percussion lock, brass mounts, and a walnut stock. The lockplate is marked with the Tula Arsenal stamp and the year 1845, confirming its early production during the transition from flintlock to percussion ignition systems.
